"Hana Like No Na Keiki"

Work together for all children

Aloha, Kilohana Elementary School Students, Parents, and Community Members,

It's back-to-school time! I look forward to hearing our students reconnecting with friends and teachers while sharing their summer discoveries.

Join me as we welcome; Lihau Kaapuni, as she returns as our 1st Grade Teacher, Tim Schwab, our new 4th Grade Teacher, and Natalie Hyde, our new 6th Grade Teacher to our school 'ohana. Other faculty changes include; Joanie Tanabe is now our Curriculum Coordinator / Innovation Coach and Annie Hiembuch is our Student Services Coordinator (SSC) / Response to Intervention (RTI) Coach.

We are continuing last year's school theme of "E Hui Pu Kakou". We will continue to strive for excellence as we work towards passionate and joyful learning for all.

We will continue participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. Our students' breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be at no cost to you. We ask for your kokua in completing the CEP Family Survey, to assist in ensuring continued participation in this wonderful program.

Exciting things are planned for Kilohana. Join us as we celebrate our journey of "Healthy Keiki* Dream Big!... *and we're all keiki" to ensure we provide the best learning environment for all our keiki.
